Located in the city centre of Galway’s vibrant ‘Latin Quarter’ The Quays, Galway is one of Galway’s most famous and historic music drinking establishments. For close on 400 years The Quays has catered to both Galwegians and visitors to our city.
Upstairs is a spectacular live music venue with a pipe organ stage on stilts. Every weekend bands from all over Ireland come to perform. We host a array of acts which play a mix of genres from rock and pop to blues and classics. Many TV music specials are also filmed in the Music Hall, including the famous Glór Tíre on TG4.

We serve food seven days a week from 12 – 9pm. Our menu features traditional Irish dishes, that have been passed down through generations, as well as a modern take on some of our favourites. By using locally sourced ingredients, we aim to serve the freshest, tastiest meals.

Un authentique irish pub comme on l’imagine avant d'en pousser la porte... les consommations sont bonnes et raisonnables niveau tarifs, le lieu est typique et l'ambiance est complètement folle avec un super concert live bien que nous y soyons passés un dimanche soir. Une super expérience !

My friends and I ducked into here not knowing it was such a massively popular pub that was also hosting a little concert. Amazing atmosphere! The vibes alone with the live music made us stay for about 4 hours.
Great traditional Irish food with live music.
5 Stars might not be enough to rate this place. Live music daily (and very good music), a great staff and lots of different beers. Definitely worth a recommendation Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and a Wheelchair accessible toilet.
